REST MY BONES
Nearly sixty years ago when I was around twenty two- I moved to London having found my first job in film. I rented a room in Clarendon Road.
Daily, waiting for the bus in Holland Park Avenue, I saw this tall, imposing figure sweeping the road. He was friendly and quickly agreed to be filmed by me before I went into work.
Filmed on a very crude clockwork camera, my later films with knowledge gained and far more sophisticated equipment would be far more revealing.
